Founded in 1993 as a custom seed production unit, Tropica Seeds redefined the standards of Seed production and set new benchmarks delivering world class seed production to all its clients.
India provides varied agro climatic conditions, required intellectual capital and cost advantages required for success in the global seed business. In the year 2000, sensing an opportunity to set up a world class seed company, Tropica Seeds repositioned itself into a full line vegetable seeds company developing outstanding research capabilities, vast genepool & germplasm, and innovative methods to provide long term and sustainable leadership position in the Indian Seed Industry. We have rigorously pursued development of value added hybrid seed solutions in select crop species. A close network of channel partners across the world assist in trialling materials developed at Tropica seeds allowing our breeders and scientists to develop tailored products for global markets and extend our research efforts to reach varied agro climatic zones of the world.
Today, the company markets its hybrid products at home and abroad under Tropica Seeds and Indosem brands through a dedicated network of distributors. Strong research programs at Tropica also supports select third party brands who share our business philosophy.
